BG (ret.) David Barrientos Giron sworn in as Minister of Interior of Guatemala

Guatemala Retired Brigadier General David Barrientos Giron took office as Minister of the Interior of the Republic of Guatemala. Barrientos Giron was deputy chief of the National Defense General Staff and Inspector General of the Army, serving as head of the Department of Arms and Ammunition Control of the Ministry of Defense. He is a 2015 graduate of the Perry Center's Senior Executive Course: Managing Security and Defense. |
