Perry Center Faculty and Staff attend ESDEGUE/CREES CTOC-CT Seminar

Perry Center Professor of Practice Celina Realuyo spoke at Colombia’s ESDEGUE/CREES (Regional Center for Strategic Studies in Security) as one of the keynote speakers on “Collaborating to Combat Transnational Organized Crime in Latin America on September 29, 2015 at their Seminar on “Transnational Organized Crime and Terrorism from the Political and Judicial Perspective.” Over 160 military, police, and civilians from Colombia and 14 countries participated in the seminar sponsored by SOCOM/JSOU and CREES. Several WJPC alumni including Oscar Palma and Jesus Alberto Correa from Colombia and Augusto Alvarez from Peru were also guest speakers.

The Perry Center Director, Mr. Mark Wilkins and Professor Realuyo had productive meetings with the CREES team led by VADM Ordonez and ESDEGUE led by MG Salazar to discuss potential event and research collaborations with WJPC.
