Perry Center and NDU/CCO Launch Beyond Convergence: World without Order in Vienna and Oslo

Perry Center Professor Celina Realuyo and NDU/Center for Complex Operation Director of Research Michael Miklaucic participated in the book launch of “Beyond Convergence: World without Order” before the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the diplomatic corps in Vienna, Austria and in Oslo, Norway sponsored by the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime, Norway's Politihøgskolen and the NDU/Center for Complex Operations. Other speakers included Beyond Convergence authors Mark Shaw, Director of the Global Initiative, Tuesday Reitano, Deputy Director of the Global Initiative and Nils Gilman, Associate Chancellor, Berkley University. The discussions, in the wake of the tragic Manchester terrorist attack, focused on transnational threats including terrorism and crime, drug, arms, trends like the cyber domain, enablers and the impact on citizen security around the world.
